I've found it to be so commonplace that people automatically assume that just because you're a natural hair care blogger, that you know EVERYTHING! This is just not true. I will be the first to admit that I don't know everything that there is to know about natural hair care. My #1 goal is to learn something new every single day that the good Lord allow me to see. I'm constantly learning from current health and beauty bloggers, and just people in general day to day. I'll see someone out and about and say, "I love your hair! Do you mind telling me what you're using". They'll tell me, I'll research it, based on that research I'll purchase it, then I'll of course use it, and then I'll share the pros and cons with you. Or if I just so happen to come within earshot of others talking about hair care regimens, good/bad products, I listen and kinda take from that. So I'm always learning, even when I'm not even trying to.
One girl approached me a couple days ago and asked what I use to keep my hair from frizzing it up as it dries. She told me it is the very reason that she started going with the creamy crack. I actually took the time out from my rushing (I'm always rushing, bad habit I know) to jot down a few products that I'm currently "experimenting" with and the web address for her to check out LMC. She seemed to be quite thrilled. And I was strilled that I was able to be a help to someone.
This my friends, is the main reason why I do this. It is not to gain internet fame, or to get a whole lot of followers... It's not about making people believe that I have it all together and that I know it all...because I just don't...but it's about helping those through the natural hair journey, which by the way can be quite challenging. I used to HATE my curly hair because I simply didn't know what the hell to do with it. I grew more and more frustrated with it by the day. I remember thed feeling of pure joy when I finally found what works for me. I don't care what anybody says, WE ALL WANT HEALTHY, MANAGABLE HAIR. Bottom line. I'm here to help you achieve just that, while learning from YOU!
Okay, I'm done...just had to get that off my chest.... :-) ♥
